The red wine Masseto IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Ornellaia has been rated in 2013 with 99 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, shimmering ruby. Opens on the nose with a fine hint of spices, then plenty of rich berryish fruit, lots of blackberry, with a hint of fine chocolate in the background. Very dense and creamy, combines exemplary substance with elegance, opens with dense but very finely layered tannins, fruity core, juicy and salty, shows enormous length and depth, terrific!
