The red wine Contrada Santo Spirito Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Pietradolce has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Brilliant ruby, brightening on the rim. Opens with spicy notes of cedar, flint and thyme, then lots of cherry. Round and supple on the palate, fills the mouth richly, finely meshed, vivid tannins, fine saltiness, juicy and polished.
