Tasting Notes
Intense ruby with a pronounced purple shimmer. Open and accessible nose, smells of purple fruits, fresh plums and cherries, very clear and intense. Juicy and supple on the palate, fresh, clear fruit, especially cherry, unfolds with delicate tannins, shows very good drinking flow, crisp fruit on the finish. The grapes for this Barbera come from vineyards in Barolo and Barbaresco. Vinified in steel tanks, it then matures in used barrique barrels. This gives it a velvety fullness in addition to its crisp cherry fruit. A juicy accompaniment to many dishes and the ideal introduction to Piedmont.
