The white wine Didyme Bianco Salina IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Tasca d’Almerita has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Malvasia from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright straw yellow colour. Open and fragrant on the nose with white blossom, apricot, ripe apple and some nutmeg. On the palate it is balanced and has typical elements of the variety with a slightly bitter coda. It is salty and taut, and appears youthful and very fresh, and it is a great fish wine.
