The sekt »PAN Blanc« brut, vintage 2016 from the winery Thomas Pfaffmann has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Weißburgunder, Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Flint, toasted white bread and brioche, mineral spice, pear, sesame, fennel green on the nose. Grips the palate with a salty grip, followed by sweetish fruit and yeast notes, the pear becomes a pear tart. Fine mousse, as an aperitif, but also good with food.
