The red wine »Cuvée Max« Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut August Kesseler has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Rhubarb, wild strawberries, sour cherries and beet on the nose. Herbs and white pepper also emerge. It's tense and powerful on the palate, with spiced notes echoing alongside the juicy fruit and a slightly earthy, mineral edge. A beautiful acidity and pithy, well-integrated tannins help create length on the palate. Very good ageing potential.
