The white wine »R 736« Freyburg Edelacker Riesling trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Bernard Pawis has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points.
The aroma reveals a hint of smoke behind fresh, "cool" fruit: Bitter orange, papaya, passion fruit. In the mouth, the wine develops a great tension, a firm acidity and powerful tactile minerality dominate, salty extract leads into the still compact, yet already long finish.
