This has an underlying smoky varietal savouriness, as well as a lemon balm aroma. It has a fine palate structure, with a lively imprint and yet also with a silky underlay. It is quite light-footed and is a very elegant, gastronomic wine in the style of a dry Kabinett, and it thoroughly deserves this description.
