Tasting Notes
Honey yellow in colour, very ripe pears, Mirabelle plums, honey, vanilla and smoke on the nose, very lush aroma. Candied fruit on the palate, ripe acidity and strong stature, lots of power, but also savouriness. Plays to its strengths with a hearty meal.
More about the tastingSome yeast and a hint of new oak, but also fruity notes, quince, almond croissant, and yellow fleshed peach. Soft and voluminous on the attack, with good substance and core in the mid-palate, mineral tension and freshness, and a fruit rich finish.
