The white wine »H.A.D.E.S.« Grauburgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Jürgen Ellwanger has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Pale golden yellow. Aromas of meadow herbs, white peach, apricot, lemon zest, melon and raw almond. This aroma is supported by subtle acidity on the palate, with light phenolic notes and creaminess, beautiful tension and a long finish.
More about the tastingLight golden yellow with subtle brass-coloured reflections. The nose shows a very clear, fine Burgunder fruit with a well-judged pinch of wood spice. On the palate, the wine has some power, with substance and acidity still dominating the mid-palate, but the wine's rounding off as it matures in the bottle is predetermined: towards a full-bodied, but also balanced, taut, fruity and spicy varietal type.
