The spumante Cato Metodo Classico VSQ Brut, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Mauslocherhof has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Goldmuskateller from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Clear straw yellow with greenish reflections, fine-grained and persistent mousse. Grapey on the nose, then intense aroma of ripe dragon fruit and stone fruit as well as yellow rose petals. Sweet and aromatic on the palate, light-bodied, well-integrated mousse, crisp finish.
