An open bouquet right from the start: with honey notes, aromas of aniseed and almond, fig and date, some oak. On the palate, the wine has a taut texture, pithy acidity and fine-grained, quite dense phenolics form the backbone behind a soft, slightly viscous body. An intense tactile minerality and yeast-spicy finish can also be found within the powerful structure.
