Appealing on the nose, blackberry, juniper and a very skilful use of wood. Lots of cranberry fruit on the palate, plenty of ripeness, density, lots of wine overall. The nominally high alcohol is noticeable via the sweet extract, but completely without overripeness. Strong in every form.
