The sekt Weisser Burgunder Crémant Brut, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Ökonomierat Petgen-Dahm has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Moselle in Germany.
On the nose, you can smell white flowers, yeast and a little vanilla. In the mouth, the wine begins round and silky, the mousse remains fine and restrained in its dynamics, but without appearing weak, the lively acidity and the subtle sweetness harmonise well. This flint wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif or, thanks to its measured sweetness, with an appetizer based on poultry, vegetables or fish.
