The white wine Kirchberg Weisser Burgunder GG, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Salwey has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weisser Burgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Macerated at room temperature before pressing. Matured for nine months in barrels. Golden colour, ripe aroma, vermouth, raisin, not really oxidative, but advanced in development. Great volume on the palate, oily, intense minerality, has a lot of tension despite its power and maturity, firm acidity, a big burner, but the minerality keeps it in balance. Creamy finish. Ideal for food pairing.
