The white wine Grauer Burgunder trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Stern has been rated in 2018 by Ursula Haslauer, Ulrich Sauter, Michelle Bahro, Katja Klohr, Markus Wöhrle with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
It is still relatively closed on the nose, with a hint of roasted chestnut. On the palate it is powerful and quite complete, supple on the one hand, but also with vital acidity and a base of minerality on the other. It is not that broad, and it is juicy, elegant and yet is a wine that is very rich in content.
