The white wine »Grande Réserve« trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Weedenborn has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Smoke and roasted notes on the fine and complex nose, salty popcorn, caraway, gooseberries, mango, walnut, white flowers and mint. On the palate, it’s like a sip of the sea: salty, fine and dense, juicy and fresh. Combines power and elegance, with fine-grained phenolic notes. Long on the palate and with great ageing potential.
