The white wine »Grande Réserve trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Weedenborn has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Complex, smoky nose with popcorn, mango confit and walnut, with floral aromas and iron minerality. On the palate the wine is immediately spectacular, penetrating and energetic. Yet straightforward, dense and nimble. The aromatic Sauvignon Blanc blends beautifully with the Chardonnay and sparks immediate pleasure.
