The white wine »Grande Réserve trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Weedenborn has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Tasting Notes
There is some new oak character on the nose, as well as green walnut, mango, cassis, spiciness, and a subtle sharpness. It has the format of a Grande Réserve with volume, good density, substance and mellowness. It is full-bodied in its expression, and spicy, and it has good ageing potential.
