The sekt NV Weißburgunder brut from the winery Weingut Wey has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Moselle in Germany.
Honey notes add to the fairly ripe fruit, apricot, dried apricot, dried fruit and roasted almonds. Also generous on the palate with texture and noticeable fruit sweetness, accompanied by a stable acidity and a calm mousse. Less an aperitif than a food companion.
