The white wine Sulzfelder Cyriakusberg Scheurebe trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Winzerhof Stahl has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Franconia in Germany.
Some banana, but also hints of botrytisan. Carbonic acid and sweetness on the palate, but also a lot of alcohol, drying, buxom and feisty, also slightly phenolic and undoubtedly rich in extract, but (currently) only little fruit, an opulent vintage type due to the subtle acidity. "Needs time", noted one juror, another: "noble".
