The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Zenato has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby. Opens in the nose with notes of savoury honey and pine needles, then much dark cherry, seems very fresh. On the palate grippy, gripping tannin, coated by sweet fruit, firm drive, still needs storage.
