The red wine Sergio Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Zenato has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Radiant, dark ruby red. On the nose there is a beautiful aromatic spectrum, finely balanced between fruit and savouriness, plum, cherry, cinnamon, roasted hazelnut and oak. On the palate it is wonderfully dense and polished, compact, very juicy and with elegant drive, spans a finesse-rich arc, coherent in approach and course to the long finish.
