The red wine Sergio Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Zenato has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright dark ruby red with a purple core. Very complex on the nose, dark cherry and plum, leather, cocoa and a hint of black tea, in the background some bay leaf. Very dense and elegant on the palate, with a great fruit core and a beautiful texture, the tannins are grippy and end on savouriness in the long finish.
