The red wine Zergio Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Zenato has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Oseleta, Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby red colour. Explicit aromas of café au lait and chocolate powder on the nose, rich earthy tones, some marzipan, dried rose petal, after some time in the glass it shows notes of mint, cranberries and black cherry. On the palate with a certain juiciness, earthy tones, then shows some rough and drying tannin on the finish, still wants to age.
