Tasting from 12.11.2021: Anne Krebiehl MW

The subtle nose immediately shows the creaminess, dried corn husk and ripe lemon perfume so typical of fine Chardonnay. with air, the intensity of the Amalfi lemon and cream perfume is really striking. The palate is pristine, precise and underneath its creamy texture lies an exquisite and mouth-watering lemony saltiness that just draws you in. There is texture, concentration but also the warmth of 2018. There is a certain luminosity, a striking completeness and balance. This is what Essex can do. Wow.
