Tasting from 12.11.2021: Anne Krebiehl MW

Black cherry ripeness comes with a cloak of oak and a lick of vanilla. The ripeness and juiciness of the fruit are striking. The palate carries vivid freshness and counters the ripe nose with its precision and sleekness. Wonderful notions of white pepper shimmer while the finest veil of tannins is felt. There is a certain restrained power at work here that expresses beautiful depth an energetic, driven core in a most elegant package that expresses 2018 beautifully. This will benefit from bottle age. Drink 2025 onwards.
