Tasting from 12.11.2021: Anne Krebiehl MW

Ripe red and black cherry come clothed in an alluring, oaky smokiness. More air lets pure, ripe, red cherry shine through. The palate has a vivid and bright freshness that veers towards ripe but still tart berry fruit, something sumptuous though like an English summer pudding. This is vibrant and pure but also really ripe and smooth, expressing the fullness of the 2018 vintage. Texturally, there is a gentle silkiness and the long finish drives home what a beautifully pure expression this has. Lovely.
