Tasting from 08.08.2021

The nose is very shy with just a hint of black fruit showing though. More air reveals hints of freshly turned earth, a touch of smoke, mint and crushed bramble. The palate is beautifully delineated. Very fine, ripe tannins run alongside a very fine spine of bright acidity, lending this a lovely elegance, almost a lightness, despite the concentration. This is a medium-bodied wine that is very beautifully calibrated. Will definitely evolve.
