There is a smoky-savouriness background to black cherry fruit, fine herbal savouriness, nuances of cassis, minerality, and floral notes. Complex and closely meshed on the palate with nuances of blueberries and blackberries, taut tannins. It has a fine savoury finish, very good length, and a mineral echo, but is still somewhat inaccessible.
