Strawberry-Cucumber Smoothie

This quick-to-make refreshing drink combines the complementary flavours of cucumber and strawberry with the mellowness of coconut water. It's the ideal after-exercise pick-me-up.

For the smoothie

Ingredients (4 servings)
500 g strawberries, hulled
1/2 cucumber, peeled
330 ml coconut water
100 ml aronia juice (from health food shops)
1 stick lemongrass, sliced
1 slices fresh ginger, peeled
1 tablespoon(s) Jerusalem artichoke syrup (from health food shops)
2 strip(s) lemon peel
3 leaves mint

Preparation:

  • Put all the ingredients in a high-performance blender and blend to a smoothie.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy!
