Almost black in colour. Intense on the nose with notes of cocoa, beef jus, port wine and spices such as lovage, and subtle dark caramel. Also intense on the palate with notes of dried fruit, especially fig. Very complex. Relatively slender and highly drinkable. Finishes long with a salty liquorice impression.
