The highlight is the large walk-around tasting, where you can discover the variety of Franciacorta wines, meet the producers in person, and learn more about the origins, styles, and philosophies of each winery.
The festival opens at 3:00 p.m. exclusively for trade visitors. The event kicks off with a master class led by Simon Staffler, Director of Falstaff Italia, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. The focus is on the special Franciacorta category known as Satèn —renowned for its fine bubbles, elegant style, and excellent pairing with food. Eight select Satèn wines from leading producers will be tasted.
Starting at 5:00 p.m., private wine enthusiasts are also welcome to discover the wines in a relaxed atmosphere, directly with the winemakers.
