Cagnulari is widespread in Sardinia, where it was probably brought to the island by Spanish occupiers. It is believed that the grape variety is a mutation of the Bovale Grande variety. The wines made from it are rich in extracts, rich in tannins and have a dark red color. On the nose they have a strong aroma with a subtle bouquet at the same time
