Anantara Nice development now open to guests

Two-year project completed at historic 170-year-old site.

Visitors to the French Riviera now have the chance to stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice, the hotel overlooking the Promenade des Anglais and the seafront, the venue having undergone an extensive two-year renovation.

The architecturally-significant location was acquired by the hotel group owners in 2020 and is housed within a historic building, the former Hotel Plaza, boasting 151 rooms including 38 suites, many with trademark sea-facing terraces and balconies.

A terrace bar adjoins the signature rooftop restaurant, with the hotel also retaining the renowned ballroom, along with five treatment rooms, sauna and steam room.

The Nice project follows a number of similar Anantara investments in locations including Amsterdam, Rome, Dublin and Vilamoura on the Portuguese Algarve.
