On May 31, 2024, the first Zuma Germany branch will open as a pop-up in Munich's Rocco Forte Hotel The Charles. It's a premiere for the culinary concept founded in 2002.
Foodies from all over the world know and love Zuma. So much even that the company has now expanded its global presence to an impressive 24 locations since it was founded in 2002. The most recent additions include a restaurant in Rome and several pop-ups, including in Porto Cervo, Sardinia and Cannes. Zuma Germany will now celebrate its premiere in summer 2024.
Hotelier Sir Rocco Forte has to thank himself and Rainer Becker: "I am delighted to be working with Rainer Becker and am proud to welcome his unique restaurant concept Zuma to The Charles Hotel in Munich", says the Managing Director and Chairman of the Rocco Forte Hotel Group. Munich's The Charles Hotel from the noble portfolio will be the temporary home of the first Zuma Germany.
From May 31 to the end of August 2024, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy fine Japanese cuisine from Zuma. The menu features characteristic and award-winning dishes. They include the spicy beef fillet with sesame or the grilled sea bass with chili and ginger.
Many of the dishes come from the Robata Grill in the center of the terrace. Guests can experience parts of the cooking process live for themselves. Sushi & Co. are served in izakaya style. In other words, the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. What's more, here you can sit in a unique location in the heart of the Bavarian capital and enjoy a view of the Old Botanical Garden.

Bookings for groups are available from February 29, 2024 via email, and individual reservations from April 1. Open Monday to Sunday from 12 noon to midnight.
