Singapore: Pan Pacific Orchard opens in June

Several dining options will be available at the 23-storey luxury hotel in the Orchard district.

Singapore’s tourism is slowly returning: international visitor arrivals rose to 931,530 in January, a new record for arrivals per month after the end of Covid. But the numbers are still well below the 1.5million visitors recorded in November 2019.

However, Singapore’s tourism industry is optimistic, and a new luxury hotel is proof of this upward trend: Pan Pacific Orchard opens on June 1, the 23-storey hotel with 347 rooms is operated by Pan Pacific Hotels Group, a member of Singapore-listed UOL Group Limited.

It is located within the Claymore enclave on the Orchard Road shopping belt, the hotel designed by WOHA Architects. Many guest rooms have a private balcony, and visitors staying in one of the Beach Club Loft Rooms will have access to the Beach Terrace pool on level 5. The hotel offers indoor and outdoor gyms, a St. Gregory spa exclusively for in-house guests, and multiple swimming pools. Club guests also enjoy access to the plush Pacific Club Lounge.

The new hotel has several dining venues: Mosella, the hotel's signature restaurant, serves Mediterranean cuisine with a Peruvian flair. Florettea speciality bar, offers Champagne and oysters, among others. And for refreshments and afternoon tea, Pacific Breeze is perched above the Lobby’s waters.

“We have created a modern retreat in the city’s heart with inspired design, food and drink, and programming that will engage the senses,” said Marcel NA Holman, General Manager of Pan Pacific Orchard and Vice President of Operations for China, Japan and Indonesia.

The hotel is now taking reservations for June 2023 and beyond. Room rates start from €320.
