Der Anbau und die Kultivierung von Zwetschken haben in Mitteleuropa eine sehr lange Tradition, mittlerweile gibt es über 100 verschiedene Sorten. Eine der ursprünglichsten Sorten ist sicherlich die Hauszwetschke. Diese ist zwar sehr robust, hat im Anbau aber ihre Nachteile wie der späte Reifezeitpunkt und die geringe Fruchtgröße – vor allem lassen sich die Früchte auch wenn sie auf dem Baum bereits eintrocknen immer noch nicht gut schütteln.
Das Destillat besticht durch seine Duftfülle von süßen vollreifen Früchten. Begleitet wird dieser Duft von einer filigranen Zimtnote. die man nur bei Baum-gereifter Früchten findet.
Die Aromatik am Gaumen erinnert an Kaiserschmarren mit Zwetschkenröster – süß und würzig mit breiter Frucht, weich und lang anhaltend.

Good, fragrant nose with pithy fruit and very exciting savouriness in the background. The dense mouthfeel is tightly interwoven and well-balanced with fruit, savouriness and marzipan sweetness. Great length with a long finish.
