At the end of March Aperol will get a new design, with the legendary 1919 recipe unchanged.

Some brands are instantly recognizable—no matter where you are in the world. Aperol is one of them. This March, the iconic bottle will debut a refreshed design while staying unmistakably familiar.

The Campari Group frames the update as the next step in the brand’s evolution. “Every detail has been carefully crafted to balance modernity with tradition, anchoring Aperol firmly in the heart of contemporary aperitivo culture,” says Camilla Cisterna, Consumer, Channel, and Customer Marketing Director at Campari Austria.

The new design builds on Aperol’s classic Italian aesthetic, enhancing its presence in bars, on terraces, and in retail settings—without compromising the bottle’s high recognition factor. The goal is to make Aperol even more visible and inviting, cementing its role as a centerpiece of the global aperitivo scene.

The recipe itself will remain untouched, staying true to the original formula crafted by the Barbieri brothers in 1919.

The new design

The new Aperol bottle will have a slimmer, more elegant silhouette. Textured glass highlights the signature bright orange hue, letting it shine even more. A smaller front label gives the liquid center stage, while a transparent back label provides clear instructions for crafting the perfect Aperol Spritz.
