Quite a fresh nose with noticeable malt, notes of oak, vanilla and subtle, light-coloured fruit. Oak and slightly sweetish malt are also predominant on the palate, with a fine spiciness forming the counterpart. There is a hint of smoke, wood and some dried fruit towards the finish.
