Absinth, das Getränk der Dichter und Denker im 19. Jhd. wurde unter dem Namen „Weissagung“ neu erfunden. Durch sein Unterscheidungsmerkmal als „klares“ Destillat und Ingredienzien höchster Güte wie Anis, Wermut und Fenchel, wird eine längst vergangene Epoche suggeriert und zum neuen Leben erweckt. Die prominente Dichte an ätherischen Ölen, in Kombination mit der hohen Alkoholkonzentration, bildet ein wahres Meisterwerk höchster Mazerier- und Destillationskunst ab, welches den/die Genießer/in auf eine Geschmacksreise wohlwollenden Ausmaßes feiner und scharfsinniger Nuancen schickt.

The nose is powerfully savoury, with fennel and calamus coming to the fore, accompanied by subtle hints of aniseed. Some sweetness on the palate before savoury components emerge. Needs only a slight addition of water and sugar to come into its own.
