Die 1716 gegründete Quinta do Vallado ist eines der ältesten und bekanntesten Weingüter des Douro-Tals. Es liegt am Ufer des Corgo, eines Nebenflusses des Douro, direkt an dessen Mündung und in der Nähe der Stadt Peso da Régua. Die Quinta gehörte der legendären Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira und ist bis heute im Besitz ihrer Nachkommen. Aroma: Sehr intensives und komplexes Aroma mit einem Hauch von Harz und kristallisierter Orange.
