The Cartell Basel has a Mexican atmosphere. The atmosphere is lively, the music is sometimes a little loud, the margaritas are ice cold and the tacos are delicious. There are different variations with and without meat, plus a few starters and other dishes such as burritos and bowls.

This small restaurant serves home-made Cantonese specialities. The owner herself comes from Hong Kong and cooks the dishes from her home country. From the noodle soups to the fried chicken on rice to the wontons, there is a lot of love and craftsmanship in the food here.

Fans of Mexican cuisine cannot avoid a visit to this stand in the Klara food court. The tacos, burritos and nachos taste just like they do in their country of provenance. Insider tip: Don't skip dessert, because the guapo churros are heavenly!

This food truck brings succulent pieces of Japanese chicken to the streets of Aarau. They are breaded and deep-fried to order on site and are therefore always fresh and delicious. They are served on rice or in a bento box. For veggies, there is crispy deep-fried tofu.
