Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2022/23

The winery is located in Ponte in Valtellina, in a beautiful 16th century palazzo. The grapes are processed in the historic cellar, the wine is refined in the barrels and left to grow-up in the bottles to give the Nebbiolo the time it needs. The vineyards, with vines up to 100 years old, are terraced, south-facing, at altitudes between 400 and 650 meters, with slopes between 30 and 70 percent. Simonit & Sirch's gentle pruning technique has been used in all vineyards since 2011.
