Burignon is one of the five estates of the city of Lausanne and is idyllically situated in the middle of the steep terraced vineyards of Lavaux with a spectacular view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. With 60 acres, the premier grand cru site "Les Roches Plates" is the prime piece of the vineyards surrounding the domain - and is reserved for the flagship variety Chasselas. However, the permeable soils are also suitable for varieties such as Viognier or Malbec. And because there are guest rooms to book at Burignon, nothing stands in the way of an extended tasting.
