Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2024

As one of the first to believe in the potential of wines from Emilia-Romagna, Umberto Cesari and his wife Giuliana founded the winery that still bears his name today in the early 1960s. He invested all his energy in enhancing the terroir and local grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Albana, Pignoletto and Trebbiano, to which international varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet and Sauvignon were added over the years. Quality is the focus here, the preservation of the heritage as well as innovation and sustainability are the pillars of the daily work.
