The red wine Tauleto Sangiovese Rubicone IGT 2015, vintage 2016 from the winery Umberto Cesari has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Negretto from the region Emilia-Romagna in Italy.
Dark, dense ruby red with a dark core. On the nose intense aromas of malt, cherry, plum and rum-steeped fruit, chocolate, and tobacco notes. On the palate full-bodied and rich, balanced between acidity and tannins, noticeable use of wood in the textured aftertaste, also nice juiciness, still needs some ageing.
