The August Ziegler winery is a family business that has grown over the centuries in the heart of the renowned wine-growing community of Maikammer on the Southern Wine Route. History, present and future come together here. Just as individual as the people of this family are their unmistakably characterful wines. They are characterised in particular by their consistently high striving for quality, which pays off.
The foundation for quality is laid by many hours of work in the vineyards. There, all planted vines receive loving and individually tailored care. The vital vineyards produce healthy grapes and, in combination with the soil and weather, shape the character of the wines. Each variety and each vintage has its own unmistakable taste. In addition to Riesling and the classic Burgundy varieties, the range also includes a colourful mix from Scheurebe to Shiraz.
