Falstaff Wine Guide Germany 2026

The vineyards of the Langguth winery are spread along the Middle Moselle and are already designated as "Große Lagen" and "Erste Lagen" in the historical vineyard map of the Prussian government from 1868. The estate is run by Patrick Ulrich Langguth, who is committed to preserving the steep vineyards. The winemaker focuses on craftsmanship, caution and patience: the precise, slate-spicy Rieslings are fermented spontaneously, matured in classic Mosel barrels and in small stainless steel containers. A strong debut that we rate with two stars straight away.
