It's a bit boring, of course, but unfortunately we have to repeat ourselves: Sascha Montigny is and remains one of the great red wine specialists on the Nahe. The interesting thing is that he succeeds with various red grape varieties. His Pinot Noir is classically excellent, but St. Laurent, Merlot and Syrah are also full of juice and power - there is no lack of elegance either. Our tip, of course, is the white Viognier, another grape variety originally from further south, which seems to feel very much at home on the Nahe and in the care of Sascha Montigny.
